Monza is a charming city, famous for its park and the automobile race track. The Park of Monza is the largest enclosed park in Europe: with a surface of 688 hectares is more than twice larger than New York’s Central Park. Inside this park flows the Lambro River creating tiny lakes and waterfalls.
The national automobile race track of Monza is a circuit situated inside the Park of Monza. It holds many motor events during the whole year, but it’s internationally famous for the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix.
St. Moritz (Sankt Moritz in German) is a popular holiday resort of the Engadine Valley, in the Graubunden canton, in Switzerland.
It offers many ski-lifts and ski slopes and many paths for excursions on the mountains.
Close to it, there is the Cresta Run, a worldwide famous bobsleigh and sledge run.
Campione d’Italia has the particularity of being an enclave separated from the mother country by a lake: it’s possible to reach Italy from Campione crossing the Lake of Lugano without entering the Swiss territory.
Campione is famous to hold one of the four Casinos in Italy, it’s regulated by a legislation that dates back to the years before the second Worldwide War, more favourable compared with the Italian and the Swiss one. After the move happened in the year 2007 in the modern building designed by the Swiss architect Mario Botta, the Casino of Campione d’Italia is today the hugest one the whole Europe.
Milan is an important commercial and industrial centre at international level, as well as the biggest Italian city for services and tertiary, finance, fashion, publishing and industry.
Besides, it is the site of the Stock Exchange, one of the most important European financial centres and it’s a big attraction centre for the head offices of dozens of multinationals. It has one of the biggest university, publishing and television centres in Europe.
It also has the fair with the largest exhibitive surface in Europe. There are many monuments to visit, among them all, the gothic Dome. Milan is also one of the most important destinations in the world for shopping.
The mountain town of Livigno enjoys the status of a duty free area that has become a famous for shopping.
During the winter there are many people who reach the location for a holiday in the snow. The winter tourist facilities are excellent and also the high altitude (the center of the town is located 1816 m above sea level with slopes up to 2,800 meters in areal center-Alpine) in Livigno allows you to easily have the best snow conditions, using only occasionally artificial snow, which is instead now a necessity for many of the other winter holiday resorts.
